This course is designed to increase a student’s ability to prepare and practice for trade specific job applications and interview processes. Effective and efficient communication skills are essential elements in acquiring and retaining a career in a highly competitive job market environment.

Students will develop a job search portfolio that includes “blue collar” resume, cover letter and reference statements. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to complete a market research paper on their chosen trade.
